In August 2021 we took part in a stay in the area of Dolina Zeleného plesa at a local cottage. Part of the experience which was a week long was, of course, climbing on the surrounding peaks such as Kozí or Čierný štít.
Due to the worse weather, it was not possible to make ascents every day, so we had to replace quantity with quality.
Jahňací štít
The first easier route led for one part of our expedition to Jahňací štít, which was followed by a hiking trail, while the more determined ones went on the first climb.
Čierný štít
Another goal was a climbing ascent to Čierný štít, which meant a whole day trip with beautiful views of the inversion and the surrounding peaks. Sufficient height also provided us with wonderful weather despite the occurrence of fog that crept into the valley.
Other experiences included a rainy ascent to Kozí štít which examined both the physical and mental aspects of the climber's personality.
